Denis Ur started the match with the kick off. Emanuel Ocampo hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 3 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Ur came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 4 minutes into the game, Evaristo Pelagius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Lander in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 9th minute of play forced Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s goalkeeper Nemesio Gonchan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Gonchan came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denis Ur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nemesio Gonchan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 25th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Damaso Nataniel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Damaso Nataniel kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute of the match Luca Espinar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nemesio Gonchan skillfully saved the ball. Damaso Nataniel was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 34th minute, Damaso Nataniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Edmundo Espiga sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Nemesio Gonchan didn't even have to move. Remigio Katia hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Edmundo Espiga took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nemesio Gonchan. Nemesio Gonchan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Gonchan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nemesio Gonchan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. A throw-in in the 51st minute of the game was made by Bernabe Barros with Horacio Lander as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Luca Espinar fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Luca Espinar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Luca Espinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nemesio Gonchan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Espiga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. Nemesio Gonchan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 57th minute of play. Bernabe Barros got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alfredo Roderigo. Evaristo Pelagius got a throw-in 60 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Horacio Lander. The supporters of Atletas Campesinos F.C. booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Espiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Paolo Maureo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Ur in the 79th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Horacio Lander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Atletas Campesinos F.C. getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Alfredo Roderigo hit a great ball. Edmundo Espiga was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Honduras's Sebastian Villa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nemesio Gonchan. That made the score 0-3 after 90 minutes of play. When Luca Espinar was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. When the final whistle sounded Honduras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Atletas Campesinos F.C..
