Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Justo Sagrario got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Águilas Poblanas's Elpidio Chayo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matias Eder was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the match, Justo Sagrario notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Justo Sagrario tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Águilas Poblanas's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Eder came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justo Sagrario. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Tomas Illescas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matias Eder. That made the score 1-1 after 56 minutes of play. Roberto Mateus hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Guerau made in the 73rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Elpidio Chayo immediately put the ball in play. In the 75th minute, Tiburcio Firman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Matias Eder in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute Cayetano Remir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matias Eder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After 85 played minutes Águilas Poblanas got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Guerau. In the 86th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Sagrario in the 89th minute of play. Matias Eder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 90th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
