The El Salvador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Abram Luque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Bayern Lessa - u21's Alessandro Mendonça got a free kick in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Fernandino made a kick off. Bayern Lessa - u21's Ronaldinho de Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Bayern Lessa - u21 from getting a goal against them. In the 53rd minute, Cesinha Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But to his dismay, Moises Fernandino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Ronaldinho de Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador.
