In the 9th minute Carlo Citrullo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Bilbo Bermudez heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mehis Nugin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 14th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urtzi Zamorano in the 15th minute. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehis Nugin having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Horado Oton could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Dante Lacasa however easily saved by the left post. Urtzi Zamorano came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dante Lacasa could save by the left post. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtzi Zamorano in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Urtzi Zamorano came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Luque to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Mehis Nugin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erez Negrini kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Spor Las Huevas's Caio Hornilla was substituted for Urtzi Zamorano. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Spor Las Huevas's Lartaun Riera was substituted for Carlo Citrullo. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mehis Nugin narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
