Alessandro Vettori's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alessandro Vettori helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, XMAS's Comunardo Quadrini got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when Ennio De Nardis made the kick off in the second half. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in XMAS's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Concetto Garibaldi came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ennio De Nardis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Luca Espinar got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Honduras's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
