In the 3rd match minute, Spor Las Huevas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erez Negrini to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehis Nugin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 5 minutes Spor Las Huevas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Luis Andino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Spor Las Huevas's Mehis Nugin did a great save. Mehis Nugin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of play. Mehis Nugin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute, Erez Negrini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Spor Las Huevas's Carlo Citrullo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Spor Las Huevas's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Mehis Nugin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The long shot by Erez Negrini in the 30th minute really tested Julio Vera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mehis Nugin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 minutes, Antonio Arias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Spor Las Huevas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Spor Las Huevas booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoilo Hoz in the 46th minute of the match. Horado Oton kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th match minute, Spor Las Huevas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horado Oton to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Caio Hornilla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lartaun Riera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After 56 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zoilo Hoz who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Bilbo Bermudez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spor Las Huevas's supporters rose to their feet, but Bilbo Bermudez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Spor Las Huevas's Horado Oton got a free kick in the 59th minute. When Erez Negrini came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Spor Las Huevas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erez Negrini couldn't finish the play. Mehis Nugin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 66 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. Mehis Nugin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spor Las Huevas's Gonzalo Benavente was substituted for Caio Hornilla. Horado Oton hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Spor Las Huevas's Mehis Nugin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Spor Las Huevas from getting a goal against them. Mehis Nugin made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The referee felt a red card was in order, 79 minutes into the game, when Erez Negrini put in a rough tackle. 78 minutes into the game, one of Spor Las Huevas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 80 minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mehis Nugin. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mehis Nugin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute Lartaun Riera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mehis Nugin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Daniel Zorita had several of the Spor Las Huevas's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 96 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Mehis Nugin as he didn't even see the shot coming. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 99thth minute, Mehis Nugin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
