Ismael Furman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 24th minute of the match. Cassius Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Beugnet, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob May came free, but Ismael Furman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cassius Byrne to strike the kick off in the second half. Jenson Smith was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Equipo's goalie and right to Marco Baker. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Equipo's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Campbell got free with Ismael Furman in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Sam Campbell could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Ismael Furman however easily saved by the left post. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harun Elçin, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Sam Campbells short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Ismael Furman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. USA were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Equipo to leave the ground with a draw.
