In the 14th minute Robinho Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abraham Alguacil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arsenio Manni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Panama's Arsenio Manni threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 19 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Robinho Recife came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19thth minute of the game Robinho Recife who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute Robinho Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arsenio Manni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 minutes Laus Deo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. Abraham Alguacil made a great header on Panama's corner, it was just that Laus Deo's Arsenio Manni managed to reach the ball for a save. 36 minutes into the match, Kong Ping notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Cambeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Evaristo Cerezo fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laus Deo's protests and gave Evaristo Cerezo a yellow card for diving instead. Evaristo Cerezo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes Laus Deo got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Cerezo. Arsenio Manni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 65 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of Panama booed when Laus Deo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel de Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. Michel de Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michel de Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute, Michel de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laus Deo's Arsenio Manni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Manni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kong Ping in the 83rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Cambeiro during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Panama's Alex Cambeiro got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Timur Belyaninov sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Panama's Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move. Kong Ping hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The Panama supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Laus Deo's performance. The match ended with a win for Laus Deo.
