The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when 温超适 made the kick off in the second half. 韩扬铮 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 方坤正 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 方坤正 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 方坤正 was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which 方坤正 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 方坤正 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 方坤正 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after I am the danger's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. In the 95th match minute, I am the danger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 温超适 to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
