Alonso Berganza was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the game, one of Peru:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Reynaldo Quinito sent off a good shot on target. Thodoris Katsiaros kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Mustafa Arif Devrim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Mustafa Arif Devrim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Cutberto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Victor Cutberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Victor Cutberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mustafa Arif Devrim, 1-1. RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 made a substitution. Ceferino Chabier replaced Felipe Jaume. RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18 made a substitution. Ubaldo Ospin replaced Reynaldo Quinito. When RIVER y NADA MÁS 09.12.18's Ubaldo Ospin in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal.
