Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by 温超适 in the 13th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Mexico's Luca Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 方坤正 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 方坤正 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, I am the danger's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but 方坤正 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The I am the danger fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 45th minute, 史悦庭 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 方坤正 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luca Zorita went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mexico booed when I am the danger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Orădan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 方坤正 having to interfere. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 温超适 in the 73rd minute of play. When Adam Tee fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored I am the danger's protests and gave Adam Tee a yellow card for diving instead. 方坤正 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 方坤正 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 79th minute of play.
