With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22ndth minute of the game Valdomiro de Godoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Romando Futebol Clube booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Gayoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 27 in the game by Valdomiro de Godoi from a close distance when the talented Rolando Noboa managed to make a qualified save. Peru's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Peru's Joaquin Prats got a free kick in the 74th minute. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Milagros Fraga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Gallo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas made a huge save. Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Rafael Gallo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
