Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 6 minutes into the game, when Camilo Gisbert put in a rough tackle. In the 5th minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. Regresados' Julio Vera just managed to throw himself towards the right post in the 7thth minute after Enzo Perezs penalty, and stop a certain goal. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Enzo Perez was slow to take the kick. During this time Regresado's players had a chance to rest. After 11 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilio Bazkoare was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Regresado's goalkeeper Emilio Bazkoare, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Osorio came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brian Foretic made a kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Foretic in the 54th minute of play. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Bazkoare read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Regresado made a substitution. Nanak Liders replaced Valentin Osorio. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Regresado's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Luis Andino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emilio Bazkoare quite easily take care of the ball. In the 61st minute, Cornelio Henric got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emilio Bazkoare. Regresado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustín Saelices was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Brian Foretic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Bazkoare made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. If Nanak Liders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Brian Foretic ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 90th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Brian Foretic's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
