Salih Orus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cristian Sancho scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salih Orus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Salih Orus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salih Orus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Central's Salih Orus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Central's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salih Orus came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Salih Orus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Luis Andino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salih Orus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Quintan, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After a rather tough play, Central's Arnoldo Bermund got a free kick in the 61st minute. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Salih Orus to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 62 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Salih Orus. In the 65th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Salih Orus was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Salih Orus in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Central's Eugenio Vermudo got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Julio Ekaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Salih Orus. Central's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Central's goalkeeper Salih Orus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Giovani Lo Celso hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovani Lo Celso in the 86th minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salih Orus having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Central's Eugenio Vermudo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Ecuador's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
