Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Robby Woody took the kick off in the first half of the match. Robby Woody who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Thiago Pliego when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Robby Woody took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Thiago Pliego to make any attempt to save it. La Academia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maxín Bacarreza in the 11th minute. In the 11th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Fontirroig to maneuver through the defense. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxín Bacarreza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robby Woody in the 13th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robby Woody in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. La Academia's Iwan Grocholski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 16th minute of play. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robby Woody's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Gong Peng Bo came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 21st minute of play forced La Academia's goalkeeper Iwan Grocholski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Mariano Lacasa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iwan Grocholski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Gong Peng Bo fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Academia's protests and gave Gong Peng Bo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Academia's Iwan Grocholski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iwan Grocholski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 41st minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Porta in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Chile's Xavier Figueroa. With his leg Thiago Pliego managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when La Academia's Robby Woody fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 45 in the game by Robby Woody from a close distance when the talented Thiago Pliego managed to make a qualified save. Chile's players were relieved. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in La Academia's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Grocholski came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 56 in the game by Mariano Lacasa from a close distance when the talented Iwan Grocholski managed to make a qualified save. La Academia's players were relieved. Mariano Lacasa scored 1-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iwan Grocholski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 played minutes La Academia got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Mazuste. After having played for 67 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iwan Grocholski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, La Academia's Iwan Grocholski got control of the ball when Orlando Casaus tried to sneak it across the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Robby Woody came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariano Lacasa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Iwan Grocholski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
