Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Caio da Rocha scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 8 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abel Bueno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Qikiqtarjuaq FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Miki Jungslund in the 12th minute. The corner ended in Miki Jungslund almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. After 15 played minutes Qikiqtarjuaq FC got a freekick which was hit by Chong Sheppard. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caio da Rocha in the 18th minute. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Bueno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Alfonzo Davidson got a free kick in the 21st minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilgaz Şirvan, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Bueno having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Quinton Marcheterre came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38thth minute of the game Ilgaz Şirvan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Qikiqtarjuaq FC made a substitution. Daron Keen replaced Wilber Leon. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Caio da Rocha made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Qikiqtarjuaq FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ilgaz Şirvan hit a great ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio da Rocha in the 54th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Miki Jungslund got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 67thth minute of the game Caio da Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 70 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chong Sheppard hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Abel Bueno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miki Jungslund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Bueno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Qikiqtarjuaq FC made a substitution. Joshua Keys replaced Ilgaz Şirvan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Abel Bueno in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Caio da Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caio da Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, Qikiqtarjuaq FC could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
