Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Răica in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Baraquiel in the 5th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Jairo Baraquiel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Edward Mcdonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Descamisados CF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Cassius Byrne almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Descamisados CF's Lawrence Lawless did a great save. Cassius Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jairo Baraquiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Baraquiel in the 24th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Day came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Descamisados CF's Jairo Baraquiel. But to his dismay, Jairo Baraquiel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 34 minutes, Jairo Baraquiel made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. USA's Marco Day tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Răica, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute Descamisados CF were awarded a corner. Raphael Mazon went to the cornerflag to take it. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. Lawrence Lawless showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Descamisados CF's Lawrence Lawless played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 52nd minute of play. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jairo Baraquiel in the 57th minute. Raphael Mazon hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Răica in the 60th minute of play. The corner led Descamisados CF's Raphael Mazon to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Descamisados CF made a substitution. Ceferino Bakar replaced Jairo Baraquiel. A collision led to Descamisados CF getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Raphael Mazon hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Campbell in the 73rd minute of play forced Descamisados CF's goalkeeper Lawrence Lawless to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 minutes, Edward Mcdonald made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Descamisados CF's Lawrence Lawless tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. Ceferino Bakar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. Although USA had been in control for most of the match, Descamisados CF still came away with the win.
