Silvio Abadia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Bernardo Raggio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Carballar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belgrano de Pibasog's Bernardo Raggio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Carballar in the 12th minute of play. After 13 minutes of play, Belgrano de Pibasog's Judas Verón made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Belgrano de Pibasog's Bernardo Raggio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 22nd minute of play. Clemente Gaizkine made in the 29th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Silvio Abadia however managed to control. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Judas Verón's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Colombia's Antonio Indiano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Clemente Gaizkine, made in the 34th minute of the game. In the 37th minute, Axel Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Raggio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Judas Verón in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Clemente Gaizkine threw the ball into play from the sideline. Colombia's Antonio Indiano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

50 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bernardo Raggio. Axel Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. Bernardo Raggio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Raggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Raggio was a little too slow when Axel Montenegro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 3-5. Belgrano de Pibasog made a substitution. Garcia Morros replaced Blue Dolar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 69th minute of play forced Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Bernardo Raggio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Raggio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Judas Verón in the 73rd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Maximiano Delgado in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. After 80 minutes of play, Belgrano de Pibasog's Iulian Ilinca made it 4-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bernardo Raggio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abram Secada showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-6 in the 85 minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garcia Morros in the 89th minute of play. Kevin Mastache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Bernardo Raggio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abram Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Bernardo Raggio made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Belgrano de Pibasog's Garcia Morros got a free kick in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Colombia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
