But to his dismay, Anibal Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Andres Ferrari kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Victor Vulpăşin came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 59th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Victor Vulpăşin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 minutes of play, Real Còrdoba FC's Anibal Cordeiro made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
