In the 16th minute, Roger Suárez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Aron Oks made a huge save. In the 20th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Aron Oks despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Aron Oks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aron Oks firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience was convinced that Roger Suárez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Andino got free with Aron Oks in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Munat Tayka's Aron Oks. After a rather tough play, Munat Tayka's Ulf Bokelund got a free kick in the 65th minute. Munat Tayka's Aron Oks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 69th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Aron Oks was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Munat Tayka made a substitution. David Herstad replaced Roger Suárez. At last the ball reached Ruben Da Silva at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Ecuador. 2-1. 楚翔烨 hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Da Silva in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ecuador had played much better football throughout.
