In the 4th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Turrieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Vincente Turrieta made a huge save. Francisco Seco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Vincente Turrieta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Maximiliano Escribano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vincente Turrieta. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vincente Turrieta. Komikoz FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After having played for 21 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Escribano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Vincente Turrieta in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, Komikoz FC's goalkeeper Vincente Turrieta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. 25 minutes into the game, Alberto Gisbert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Vincente Turrieta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Vincente Turrieta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Komikoz FC's goalkeeper Vincente Turrieta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Francisco Seco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vincente Turrieta came out and tried to block the shot, but Francisco Seco slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute, Francisco Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vincente Turrieta was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Komikoz FC's Vincente Turrieta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Komikoz FC from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. Vincente Turrieta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Arturo Carvallo in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Komikoz FC's Nastasio Porras. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Francisco Seco sped through Komikoz FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vincente Turrieta. Komikoz FC's Vincente Turrieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 63rd minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Komikoz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Vincente Turrieta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vincente Turrieta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Francisco Seco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vincente Turrieta having to make a save. Vincente Turrieta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximiliano Escribano's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 78thth minute of the game Francisco Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Komikoz FC's Vincente Turrieta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vincente Turrieta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 79th minute of the match. Vincente Turrieta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Gisbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Vincente Turrieta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. After 83rd play minutes Francisco Seco shot 9-0, a short shot which went by Vincente Turrieta and just under the crossbar into goal. 88 minutes into the match, Komikoz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Gisbert came free, but Vincente Turrieta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vincente Turrieta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 89th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vincente Turrieta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Vincente Turrieta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Uruguay were the better team. Uruguay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
