Ricardo Zorita was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dimas Bravo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 8 minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in El Salvador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! El Salvador:s Ricardo Zorita showed great skill when he stopped Jorge Vilalobos:s penalty. Valentino Ferrant was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 14 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of El Salvador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Valadas:s goal. Jesus Carvallo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Honorato Lameiras came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Valadas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Lameiras couldn't finish the play. Honorato Lameirass short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Ricardo Zorita to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Lameiras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Valadas defense, Moises Fernandino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernanco Muslera. The Valadas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernanco Muslera should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the game, Wincent Jarosiewicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valadas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Salvador the free kick. After a rather tough play, Valadas's Wincent Jarosiewicz got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 44 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Rubio. After 46 minutes, Zekeriya Ülgener mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valadas and the El Salvador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Valadas's Zekeriya Ülgener got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zekeriya Ülgener to strike the kick off in the second half. Honorato Lameiras struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valadas. In the game's 58th minute Valadas's Luís Pimenta took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Ricardo Zorita and thus the score was 5-1. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Fernanco Muslera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernanco Muslera was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Abram Luque capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abram Luque really showed his touch with that goal: 5-2. Dimas Bravo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Honorato Lameiras struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valadas. The supporters of Valadas booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valadas were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after El Salvador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jorge Vilalobos took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Honorato Lameiras heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 88 minutes into the match, Valadas's Honorato Lameiras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Zorita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Valadas had won after a very even match.
