Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Aquiles Castulo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Correa in the 3rd minute of play. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MOEBIO's goalie prevented a goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aquiles Castulo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 28th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Castulo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. MOEBIO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Patricio Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aquiles Castulo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquiles Castulo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquiles Castulo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Venezuela booed when MOEBIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Caetano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Aquiles Castulo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 52nd minute. After 55 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aquiles Castulo was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. Aquiles Castulo made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquiles Castulo having to make a save. Aquiles Castulo was a little too slow when Tomas Illescas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-4. 80 minutes into the game, Salvador Gisbert threw the ball into play from the sideline. MOEBIO's Inocencio Errolan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 84 minutes into the match, MOEBIO's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Aquiles Castulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Braulio Rafel threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 86 played minutes MOEBIO got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Chumo. After a long run with the ball, Joshua Secada did a trick in the 89th minute in front of MOEBIO's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 0-5. An impressive performance by Venezuela's Joshua Secada! After 95 played minutes MOEBIO got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Errolan. Venezuela's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
