Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. A sloppy throw-in by Adrian Zbora in the 6th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. When Augusto Benitez came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Buffalo Timişoara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Benitez couldn't finish the play. Adrian Zbora came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dante Lacasa could save by the left post. Hunor Csapó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 15th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franky Ooms, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hunor Csapó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 22nd minute of play. Adrian Zbora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. After 31 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hunor Csapó was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mexico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Adrian Zbora scored to the left of an out of position Dante Lacasa, making the score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 38th minute of play forced Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Hunor Csapó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franky Ooms in the 42nd minute of play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Ignacy Cerocki kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Hunor Csapó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Facundo Cadaval got free with Hunor Csapó in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franky Ooms in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Zbora in the 67th minute of the match. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Hunor Csapó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Buffalo Timişoara made a substitution. Călin Borogeanu replaced Dorin Oravițan. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Zbora in the 73rd minute of play. After 77 minutes, Augusto Benitez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buffalo Timişoara and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute, Joel Gaona sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Buffalo Timişoara's Hunor Csapó didn't even have to move. Despite being the better team, Mexico failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
