Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 莫鹰升 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 任凡建 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 莫鹰升 in the 23rd minute of play. 泾县Red-Star FC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 顾风棋 took the corner. The corner led 泾县Red-Star FC's 顾风棋 to fire away a dangerous shot which Benito Sanz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hugo Ferrant made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by 泾县Red-Star FC's 汪冰潮. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 赵铮朋, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 40 minutes into the match, 莫鹰升 notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Axel Tasis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 何志昂 was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Alexander Carballo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 65th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo got a free kick in the 69th minute. Axel Tasis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 赵铮朋 took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 何志昂 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded 泾县Red-Star FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Rica.
