After 19 played minutes Vicente Varela rounded Venezuela's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Osvaldo Shantala in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 22 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Shantala lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Jonathan Ferrant. The crowd rose to their feet as CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Osvaldo Shantala slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 after 26 minutes of play. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Vicente Varela got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Sydney Quirino sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Shantala in the 37th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Shantala in the 39th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Sydney Quirino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Emerson Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Nilmar Cearense sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant.
