Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osvaldo Asteri in the 12th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Kurtuluş Tuğcu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaita´s club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurtuluş Tuğcu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute of the match, Osvaldo Asteri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gaita´s club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Freddy Solustiano in the 21st minute. A nice corner shot did that Freddy Solustiano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurtuluş Tuğcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Kurtuluş Tuğcu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 32nd minute of play forced Gaita´s club's goalkeeper Jaime Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaita´s club's Jaime Cortez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Gaita´s club's Freddy Solustiano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Kurtuluş Tuğcu came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kurtuluş Tuğcu to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Asteri in the 52nd minute of the match. A hard shot 53 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Jaime Cortez managed to make a qualified save. Gaita´s club's players were relieved. In the 56th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. Kurtuluş Tuğcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Delmiro Xabel took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Kurtuluş Tuğcu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Freddy Solustiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the game, Marcial Argenis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 98th minute of play. There was no doubt that Gaita´s club were the better team. Gaita´s club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
