Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Leicester Lions's Şükür Hagi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Camron Rhodes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 4th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şükür Hagi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grant Blacknell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Leicester Lions's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Illescas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Grant Blacknell quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Leicester Lions fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Leicester Lions's Şükür Hagi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Will Patton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şükür Hagi, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Will Patton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Leicester Lions fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Leicester Lions's Şükür Hagi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camron Rhodes in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Şükür Hagi came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Leicester Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denzil Howarth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şükür Hagi got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Camron Rhodes made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şükür Hagi in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michal Budzyn's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michal Budzyn helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Leicester Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michal Budzyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Grant Blacknell having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şükür Hagi in the 61st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes, Leicester Lions's Will Patton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leicester Lions reached it. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şükür Hagi, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Şükür Hagi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camron Rhodes in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Leicester Lions were awarded a corner. Will Patton went to the cornerflag to take it. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şükür Hagi's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 86th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Şükür Hagi took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 91 minutes into the game, Leicester Lions's Camron Rhodes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. After 95 played minutes Leicester Lions got a freekick which was hit by Şükür Hagi. Leicester Lions's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
