With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Julian Murillo sped through Romando Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas having to interfere. Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Romando Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Peru booed when Romando Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball.
