A collision led to Valadas getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Máximo Rego hit a great ball. Valadas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Karlus Waugh scored to the left of an out of position Henrique Freitas, making the score, 1-0. 6 minutes into the game, Paulo Eiró cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Demonde Jacobson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Azenha, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Henrique Freitas made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Romon Oliver sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Javan Develder hit a great ball. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Azenha in the 20th minute of play. When Javan Develder fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamaica's protests and gave Javan Develder a yellow card for diving instead. Javan Develder hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Javan Develder was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Valadas booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javan Develder didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Valadas fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Valadas's Sílvio Azenha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 37 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Eiró came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Karlus Waugh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Valadas's Paulo Eiró nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demonde Jacobson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

Romon Oliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrique Freitas came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Jamaica's Jarell Hill. But to his dismay, Jarell Hill quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Jarell Hill scored 5-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrique Freitas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 80 minutes, Nivaldo Vieira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valadas and the Jamaica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nivaldo Vieira hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Wayan Freeman hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute of the match, Sílvio Azenha got a very nice opportunity to score, but Demonde Jacobson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Karlus Waugh fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jamaica's protests and gave Karlus Waugh a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Valadas booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karlus Waugh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica from getting a goal against them. When the referee ended the match the Jamaica players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
