Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Betadur in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the game, Elias Barbosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Elias Barbosa sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Mateo Leguizamo hit a great ball. When Moises Fernandino fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Moises Fernandino a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Concepcion del Uruguay FC booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Fernandino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Elias Barbosa lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Ricardo Zorita. The Concepcion del Uruguay FC fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Concepcion del Uruguay FC's Elias Barbosa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 25 minutes into the game, Cristobal Donio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. El Salvador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Cristobal Donio scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Zorita, making the score, 5-0. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Concepcion del Uruguay FC's Remigio Cisco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 6-0 after 36 minutes of play. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roland Schiavi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Marcelo Figueroa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristobal Donio made a kick off. If Elias Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. In the 74th minute, Fausto Betadur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Barbosa in the 74th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Oliverios in the 75th minute of play. El Salvador's Marco Tamayo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roland Schiavi, made in the 77th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Barbosa came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Barbosa's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Donio in the 82nd minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Betadur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Oliverios in the 85th minute of play. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Concepcion del Uruguay FC's Cristobal Donio in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Salvador's goalie prevented a goal. 94 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Donio came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Barbosa scored 10-0 in the 100th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Concepcion del Uruguay FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
