Damazy Joks scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Damazy Joks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Joks in the 26th minute of play. In the 34th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Botescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damazy Joks scored 2-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 41st minute of play forced KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalkeeper Gigel Botescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damazy Joks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damazy Joks to make the kick off. Gigel Botescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Felix Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led KS Olimpia Warszawa's Walery Glapiak to fire away a dangerous shot which Thiago Pliego despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
