Sten Koch made in the 3rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and You Wei Xing immediately put the ball in play. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Red Bull Magnus's goalie prevented a goal. In the 11th minute Richard Hefter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Cláudio Bittencourt made a huge save. A sloppy throw-in by Sten Koch in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Eliseo Mina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sten Koch in the 20 minute of the game. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from You Wei Xing in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Red Bull Magnus got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Bäck ran over to the corner to take the kick. Red Bull Magnus's Axel Bäck was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Red Bull Magnus's Cláudio Bittencourt got control of the ball when Luz Tejedor tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Red Bull Magnus's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Cláudio Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cláudio Bittencourt was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Moises Gayoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cláudio Bittencourt was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Hefter in the 38th minute of play. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Red Bull Magnus's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cláudio Bittencourt came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richard Hefter made a kick off. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisão Negri in the 53rd minute of the match. Red Bull Magnus made a substitution. Bass Dost replaced Leo de Carvalho. Red Bull Magnus made a substitution. Gerson Cruzado replaced Luisão Negri. The throw-in from Sten Koch in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Gerson Cruzado got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 62nd minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alonso Berganza made in the 64th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Moises Gayoso immediately put the ball in play. Cláudio Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cláudio Bittencourt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, Red Bull Magnus's Bass Dost nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Bass Dost sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Rafael Gallo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Gallo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cláudio Bittencourt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute Bass Dost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Bull Magnus's goalkeeper Cláudio Bittencourt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Eliseo Alcocer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cláudio Bittencourt quite easily take care of the ball. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eliseo Mina in the 92nd minute. The corner led Peru's Eliseo Mina to fire away a dangerous shot which Cláudio Bittencourt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
