After 3 minutes, Damazy Joks made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Leonardo Leoz in the 6th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by KS Olimpia Warszawa's Leon Mleczewski. Damazy Joks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Mexico booed when KS Olimpia Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Kornatowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gigel Botescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa was a little too slow when Damazy Joks got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. Gigel Botescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Damazy Joks was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. KS Olimpia Warszawa's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 23 minutes, Walery Glapiak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Olimpia Warszawa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walery Glapiak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Joks in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 31st minute of play forced KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalkeeper Gigel Botescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to KS Olimpia Warszawa getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jan Kornatowski hit a great ball. Damazy Joks struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Olimpia Warszawa. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Damazy Joks got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Gigel Botescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 45th minute of play. After 47 minutes, Damazy Joks made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gigel Botescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 53rd minute. Leonardo Leoz made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lautaro Mancebo however managed to control. Gigel Botescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of KS Olimpia Warszawa booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Luca Rouco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Joks in the 71st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damazy Joks in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Joks in the 74th minute of play. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by KS Olimpia Warszawa's Damazy Joks. But to his dismay, Damazy Joks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Gigel Botescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 89th minute. In the 96th match minute, KS Olimpia Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zhu Cheng Guo to maneuver through the defense. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Sharma Sharma was substituted for Damazy Joks. Zhu Cheng Guo hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Mexico's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
