An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 5th minute of play forced Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Bernardo Raggio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Belgrano de Pibasog's Blue Dolar got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Monty Rogers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Bernardo Raggio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Mcdonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Judas Verón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Judas Verón sent off a good shot on target. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Judas Verón in the 29th minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob May to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Judas Verón. When Judas Verón, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 36 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Marco Day was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 38th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Raggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Raphael Moore hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Honorato Jerrold managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgrano de Pibasog's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorato Jerrold was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 41 minutes, Judas Verón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgrano de Pibasog's supporters crossed their fingers, but Judas Verón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Judas Verón received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marco Day came out and tried to block the shot, but Judas Verón slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Judas Verón made the kick off in the second half. If Judas Verón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Judas Verón in the 52nd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorato Jerrold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Belgrano de Pibasog's Garcia Morros was substituted for Blue Dolar. Belgrano de Pibasog's supporters crossed their fingers, but Judas Verón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Judas Verón in the 63rd minute of play. Bernardo Raggio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 66th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Judas Verón's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 72 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Bernardo Raggio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Mcdonald. Judas Verón struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano de Pibasog. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Belgrano de Pibasog's Iulian Ilinca was substituted for Judas Verón. In the 83rd minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Raggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eustaquio Fortun who took care of the corner kick. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garcia Morros in the 87th minute of the match. Marco Baker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Bernardo Raggio made a huge save. Belgrano de Pibasog's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Sam Campbell scored to the left of an out of position Bernardo Raggio, making the score, 1-3. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Jerrold in the 93rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Honorato Jerrold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Honorato Jerrold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over USA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Belgrano de Pibasog throughout the match.
