In the 30th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Durval Aparecido dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 3-0. When Axel Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Montenegro couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the game, Durval Aparecido recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Durval Aparecido showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Wambasther Sneijder was substituted for Cláudio Caniggia. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Luís Zanette to make the kick off. In the 68th match minute, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zhao Yang to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Antonio Indiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Cazalla made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Renan Soares. André Luís Zanette took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After 78 minutes of play, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s André Luís Zanette made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when André Luís Zanette came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ had won after a very even match.
