Durval Aparecido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guilherme Zanette was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the game, Durval Aparecido cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Durval Aparecido in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the game, one of ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 40th minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Durval Aparecido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Wambasther Sneijder was substituted for Cláudio Caniggia. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. After 59 minutes of play, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s André Luís Zanette made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guilherme Zanette made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Mariano Lacasa could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Guilherme Zanette however easily saved by the left post. 79 minutes into the match, André Luís Zanette had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Luís Zanette was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Eugênio Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, André Luís Zanette ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. After 93 played minutes ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ got a freekick which was hit by Eugênio Novaes. In the 95thth minute of the game André Luís Zanette who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆'s Haryanto Haryanto-Ie got a free kick in the 96th minute. A hard shot by Mariano Lacasa from long distance, 97 minutes into the match, got Guilherme Zanette's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Many of Chile's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Chile may have spent more time on the ball, but ☆ PERÓXIDOS ☆ were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
