Felix Luque hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Luca Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brazilio Butt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Brazilio Butt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brazilio Butt having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Jerry Jonasson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Brazilio Butt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Brazilio Butt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Facundo Cadaval's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Eduardo Selmo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dante Lacasa. Mexico's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, DIF LEEDS BK's Eduardo Selmo got a free kick in the 34th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brazilio Butt saved DIF LEEDS BK from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Luca Zorita was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 51st minute. Mexico's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 54 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Nordlander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Joel Gaona fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brazilio Butt. Brazilio Butt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Brazilio Butt however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 67 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brazilio Butt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 71 played minutes DIF LEEDS BK got a freekick which was hit by Saul Drew. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 75th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Brazilio Butt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. The throw-in from Ulf Nordlander in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mexico's Felix Luque. 83 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. The supporters of DIF LEEDS BK booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Jonasson in the 90th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Alberto Tafalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brazilio Butt. That made the score 1-2 after 92 minutes of play. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
