Leszek Wielopolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 26th match minute, Chelsea Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruy Toledo to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leszek Wielopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 37th minute. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafal Jakubiak made a kick off. Chelsea Football Club's Leszek Wielopolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 58th minute of play. Leszek Wielopolski made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Chelsea Football Club made a substitution. Firme Verga replaced Blas Guzman.
