Leandro Alfaro lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 24th minute, one of El Kiwy Mecanico:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Kiwy Mecanico. If Ernso Constant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Otero Moreno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Noel Seide. Haiti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otero Moreno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 38th match minute, El Kiwy Mecanico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leizarraga Urbieta to maneuver through the defense. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xabel Gandia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermelando Rey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Alphonse in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xabel Gandia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Xabel Gandia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 66 minutes into the match, Jonathan Alphonse notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of El Kiwy Mecanico's Hermelando Rey. Hermelando Rey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Haiti's Ernso Constant quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Julen Balcells, made in the 72nd minute of the game. The supporters of El Kiwy Mecanico booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saint Jean Pierre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Noel Seide stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xabel Gandia's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Xabel Gandia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Seide having to interfere. Raymond Louis's late challenge caught a El Kiwy Mecanico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raymond Louis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of El Kiwy Mecanico booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 played minutes Haiti got a freekick which was hit by Philippe Ambroise. The audience was convinced that Xabel Gandia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noel Seide was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Leizarraga Urbieta struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Noel Seide didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Kiwy Mecanico. After 89 played minutes El Kiwy Mecanico got a freekick which was hit by Leizarraga Urbieta. When Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Kiwy Mecanico's goalie prevented a goal. After 92 played minutes Haiti got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Alphonse. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Haiti had won after a very even match.
