Valdomiro de Godoi took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 37 minutes into the match, Valdomiro de Godoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdomiro de Godoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 43rd minute of the match. The Colombia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Romando Futebol Clube were winning 0-5.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
