In the 13th minute, Grzegorz Czerwinski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 唐川朋 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 minutes of play, Bayern Lessa - u21's Beti Montaña made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Czerwinski in the 24th minute of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Beti Montaña who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grzegorz Czerwinski's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grzegorz Czerwinski in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute Bayern Lessa - u21 were awarded a corner. Igor Andrychowski went to the cornerflag to take it. Gabriel Munhoz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Beti Montaña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Beti Montaña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bayern Lessa - u21's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beti Montaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grzegorz Czerwinski succeeded in the game's 42nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Grzegorz Czerwinski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Grzegorz Czerwinski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Beti Montaña made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th minute, Grzegorz Czerwinski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 0-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when 唐川朋 got free with Benito Sanz in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grzegorz Czerwinski in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Prestes in the 68th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz stood somewhat misplaced when Grzegorz Czerwinski came free in front of goal and shot 0-9 to the left of him in the 69 minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Bayern Lessa - u21's Beti Montaña slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 0-10 after 75 minutes of play. 78 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Czerwinski came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 minutes, Beti Montaña made it 0-11 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 85 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grzegorz Czerwinski in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When 唐川朋 fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bayern Lessa - u21's protests and gave 唐川朋 a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Bayern Lessa - u21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. 唐川朋 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Beti Montaña came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 唐川朋, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. A hard shot 95 in the game by Beti Montaña from a close distance when the talented Benito Sanz managed to make a qualified save. Costa Rica's players were relieved. In the 99th minute of the match, Grzegorz Czerwinski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benito Sanz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Costa Rica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bayern Lessa - u21 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
