Axel Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 21 minutes into the match, Chelsea Football Club's Rafal Jakubiak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 25 in the game by Axel Montenegro from a close distance when the talented Leszek Wielopolski managed to make a qualified save. Chelsea Football Club's players were relieved. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Leszek Wielopolski made a huge save. Blas Guzman struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelsea Football Club. Robert Rojas made in the 37th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Benedek Komáromi however managed to control.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. Robert Rojas made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. The supporters of Colombia booed when Chelsea Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Rojas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chelsea Football Club made a substitution. Silvestre Porfiro replaced Rafal Jakubiak. Chelsea Football Club's Raimundo Rexino managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Antonio Indiano in the 63 minute of the game. Axel Montenegro charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Montenegro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro got a free kick in the 65th minute. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Axel Montenegro hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Porfiro in the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Chelsea Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Rojas to maneuver through the defense. Raimundo Rexino hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. If Abram Secada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leszek Wielopolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Secada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Porfiro came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leszek Wielopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leszek Wielopolski came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Abram Secada. But to his dismay, Abram Secada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Silvestre Porfiro sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute Abram Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leszek Wielopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Colombia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Firme Verga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Chelsea Football Club were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
