Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. After 6 played minutes Patricio Rey Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Cordeara. 12 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Sindo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Sindo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Narciso Sindo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 21st minute, Narciso Sindo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Sindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aldo Blanco during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Patricio Rey Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Blanco to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Pacifico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Cordeara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Narciso Sindo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The Venezuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Patricio Rey Futbol Club were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narciso Sindo to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Sindo in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Narciso Sindo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Sindo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute, Aldo Blanco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guillermo Mariano made in the 70th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tomas Illescas. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Virgilio Pacifico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Narciso Sindo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Pacifico having to interfere. After having played for 83 minutes, Narciso Sindo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Sindo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Pacifico having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Teofilo Hustaz got a free kick in the 87th minute. Virgilio Pacifico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Aldo Blanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere.
