Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Federico Canzano put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amos Iovine having to make a save. Tomas Illescas came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Amos Iovine could save by the left post. Bruno Pocobello took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Canzano in the 21st minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Bruno Pocobello made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the game, Flavio Gargano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Teddy Team getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Antonello Spitaleri hit a great ball. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Canzano in the 44th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Teddy Team booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The referee gave Venezuela a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomas Illescas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Teddy Team's Amos Iovine. 1-4. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Federico Canzano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teddy Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Canzano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felice Centofanti charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felice Centofanti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 71st minute of play forced Teddy Team's goalkeeper Amos Iovine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Marinelli in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amos Iovine narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felice Centofanti lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 82nd minute, one of Teddy Team:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Teddy Team. Amos Iovine went to the wrong direction when Tomas Illescas was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Flavio Gargano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teddy Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Gargano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amos Iovine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Gargano in the 88th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Gargano in the 94th minute of the match.
