The referee showed Julen Balcells the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 played minutes, Jamaica's Jamaall Padmore shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hermelando Rey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jamaica reached it. The audience was convinced that Finlay Stair's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermelando Rey was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. The supporters of Jamaica booed when El Kiwy Mecanico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otero Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 minutes, Romon Oliver mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jamaica and the El Kiwy Mecanico players grew even worse after the yellow card. When El Kiwy Mecanico's Xabel Gandia in 40 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Demonde Jacobson guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. A collision led to El Kiwy Mecanico getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Xabel Gandia hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Jamaica's Romon Oliver ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hermelando Rey. Hermelando Rey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Finlay Stair stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leizarraga Urbieta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jamaica's Karlus Waugh got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karlus Waugh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermelando Rey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Kordal Duff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermelando Rey having to interfere. Karlus Waugh scored 3-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hermelando Rey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jamaica were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of El Kiwy Mecanico for a fine match.
