The wind increased when Moises Fernandino made the kick off in the second half. Abram Luque hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. Mateo Leguizamo might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hermelando Rey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateo Leguizamo ran back to his position shaking his head. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute, Moises Fernandino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Salvador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The supporters of El Kiwy Mecanico booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermelando Rey. El Kiwy Mecanico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Fernandino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Hermelando Rey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, El Kiwy Mecanico's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Hermelando Rey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Otero Moreno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. El Salvador had played much better football throughout.
