Bolivia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mario Fernandino in the 15th minute. Alfonso de la Cruz made a great header on Bolivia's corner, it was just that El Kiwy Mecanico's Hermelando Rey managed to reach the ball for a save. Bolivia's Alfredo Ferrant got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mario Fernandino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermelando Rey having to make a save.
