Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Corneliu Dridu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lauro Antunes hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Corneliu Dridu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 6th minute of play. If Corneliu Dridu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th match minute, Dr Lecter SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válbson Batista to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Dr Lecter SC's Corneliu Dridu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Corneliu Dridu hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Pedro Manzanares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corneliu Dridu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dr Lecter SC's Ma Wei Jun managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Orlando Tafalla in the 30 minute of the game. Dr Lecter SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mauro Romero in the 32nd minute. Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 34th minute of play. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Celso Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Axel Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Montenegro couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celso Trevisan saved Dr Lecter SC from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. Colombia's Pascual Carballar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dieguinho de Medeiros in the 51 minute of the game. In the 58th minute Corneliu Dridu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Corneliu Dridu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute Corneliu Dridu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Corneliu Dridu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 64th match minute, Dr Lecter SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieguinho de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Sarmiento got free with Celso Trevisan in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu in the 67th minute of play. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. The throw-in from Orlando Tafalla in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Dr Lecter SC's Ma Wei Jun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 75th minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Celso Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Dr Lecter SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Mastache ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Dr Lecter SC's goalie and right to Pascual Carballar. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Dr Lecter SC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Dr Lecter SC from getting a goal against them. Dr Lecter SC's Wes Vranx was substituted for Dieguinho de Medeiros. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu in the 90th minute of play. Dr Lecter SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
