When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Xabel Gandia put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Juan-Alfredo Vuelta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The El Kiwy Mecanico supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing El Kiwy Mecanico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
